In 2014, I gave myself a design challenge to become a better designer. The challenge titled, 365 Thank You Card Design Challenge, pushed me to create a Thank You card every day of the year.

During my design challenge, I created a series within a series of Thank You cards: Autism Awareness, Black and White cards, and what I call the Retro Cards featuring an icon from a metropolitan city in a design style reminiscent of the 1950s.

I am also fascinated with everything about the 1950s period. To me, that era of time had the coolest clothes, cars, and iconic lifestyle that is still very remnant of today. It’s also a time period when bright colors were being introduced into design after the mute somber period of the 1940s after World War I and II.

The 1950s signify change and a start to exploring design right before the 1960s kicked in. It was a time of peace and tranquility.

This is just one of the Thank You cards from the series that is now available for purchase.

The artwork is ready for the printer. Just give your printer the file, let them know what paper stock you want it printed on, how many copies, and if you want the card to be flat or folded. The printer will give you the cost and a delivery time.

That's it! There is nothing more for you to do on your end.

Enjoy your Thank You card!
