Millions of children around the world have been diagnosed with having Autism, which affects both boys and girls, leading them to mostly have sensory issues. These children are NOT retarded, handicapped, or disable. They just process information in their brains differently than someone who does not have Autism.
Many Autistic children are great kids!
For most parents, the thought of finding out that your child has Autism can raise a few eyebrows and several fears. However, there is an organization that has made themselves to help parents and families learn more about what Autism is and how parents can help their children grow up into wonderful adults.
Autism Speaks is dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
I have several friends from high school who have a child (or more than one) with Autism. I’ve met several of these kids and they are awesome!!!
In 2014, I gave myself a design challenge to become a better designer. The challenge titled, 365 Thank You Card Design Challenge, pushed me to create a Thank You card every day of the year.
To highlight Autism Awareness during the month of April, I created a Thank You card using puzzle pieces.
This is just one of the Thank You cards from the series that is now available for purchase.
The artwork is ready for the printer. Just give your printer the file, let them know what paper stock you want it printed on, how many copies, and if you want the card to be flat or folded. The printer will give you the cost and a delivery time.
That's it! There is nothing more for you to do on your end.
Enjoy your Thank You card!
