A commissioned painting is a wonderful and personalized gift to give a loved

the likeness of individuals from a photo is remarkable.
Stacy primarily uses oil paint for creating portraits and there are some instances
when she will use both acrylic and oil to create your painting. This process
is called grisaille which is a style of monochromatic painting in shades of gray,
burnt umber or burnt siena and is known as an underpainting. Depending on the
surface and colors in the photo, Stacy may or may not use the grisaille painting
method. She will inform you at the completion of the project if there is an underpainting.

Commission Pricing:
Commissioned art is priced on an individual
basis depending on surface, size, and time frame. There is
a non-refundable 50% deposit before beginning work on all commissioned
jobs, and you will also be required to pay sales tax.
Time Frame:
Commissioned art will take approximately 4 to
8 weeks to complete, depending upon the size and nature of the work,
as well as current workload. Stacy will be happy to discuss a time
frame for completion at the time the order is placed.
